    Dominic has lived in Canary Wharf for the last 7 years with his partner. He grew up in Romsey, Hampshire where he attended King Edward VI School, Southampton.

    He enjoys participating in many sports at a recreational and competitive level including running, cycling, football and is an keen member of British Military Fitness. He is an avid follower of England Rugby Union and frequently watches internationals at Twickenham. Outside of sport he enjoys reading, writing and computers.

    Medical Training

    Dominic trained at Birmingham Medical School and qualified in 1996. He spent an enjoyable 18 months working in Queensland, Australia before returning to Winchester to complete his GP training and entry into the Royal College of General Practitioners. After this Dominic moved to London to obtain his Masters in Sport & Exercise Medicine at the University of Queen Mary's. Upon completion he gained valuable experience working with the England Rugby League, Leyton Orient Football Club, Fulham Football Club, England Hockey and the Women's Rugby Football Union. Four years ago he was appointed by the England RFU as their Senior National Academy Doctor for the Under 21's and has continued to work for the RFU since, and most recently was England's Rugby Sevens Doctor.

    During this time Dominic was also working as a private GP in the City of London but in 2007 gave up general practice to concentrate on sports medicine becoming a specialist registrar for the London Deanery in their inaugural sport & exercise medicine training scheme. He completed this in August 2009 and has since returned to private practice.

    In 2008 he was awarded Membership to the Faculty of Sport & Exercise Medicine UK and is working towards obtaining his Fellowship.

    Dominic is a member of the SEM Musculoskeletal Injury Guidelines Group for NHS Tower Hamlets Department of Public Health Medicine.

    In early 2009 he was a contributing author to the Faculty of Sport & Exercise Medicine's "NHS Consultants in Sport & Exercise Medicine; Job Plan & Service Description".
